Raising her own son & daughter with autism, Mary Jane Williams knows firsthand how scary the future can look like when parents take this journey alone. She is breaking down barriers for kids with disabilities by helping families see possibilities through their tears & loneliness. As her family traveled the globe from New York, to Texas, to Europe, to the Far East, and back to Texas, she understands how confusing finding services and supports can be. Mary Jane was instrumental in creating the Texas Project First website, providing accurate & consistent bilingual information on the special education process, and has enjoyed sharing her experiences & knowledge by speaking to thousands of families & educators across the state of Texas.
